I hate you for having enough woodworking tools to make sliding dovetails ;) <BR/><BR/>One thing I've loved to do for years is work with that cheap pine - you know, those large cheap boards they sell. <BR/><BR/>My latest jag is making nice bookshelves by laminating two pine boards together with a slight crown to counteract sagging. <BR/><BR/>I do it on a concrete floor with some spacers, covered with a thin board to spread the deflection, covered with newspaper. Then the lamination, then about 400 lbs of cinder blocks. <BR/><BR/>You end up with a really solid and thick plank. It also removes the ever present twisting and warping these board have.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
